Design Camps

If you’re part of an organization reaching out to marginalized women, Sweet Notions has an innovative scheme that will give you fantastic results!
Design Camps Unwrapped

The adventure begins with a Charity or Community Project inviting women in their care or responsibility to a Design Camp.  Sweet Notions does the rest!

The Camp is more like a craft retreat than a college course.  The program makes for a stimulating environment that will nurture confidence and inspire creativity.

Design CampsAt every Camp, women will gain skills, such as sewing, beadwork and embroidery.  The Campers also gain merchandising and retail expertise to support their newfound skills by running a boutique event and selling the items made at the Camp. 

Sweet Notions and the organization jointly evaluate success and identify next steps for the women.  Sweet Notions will provide support in suggesting routes for further training, setting up crafting co-operatives or simply leaving them with the tools they need to continue crafting.

Customized Camps
