100% of our items are donated from individuals, boutiques and wholesalers.
Do you take broken pieces?
Yes! We’ll use them in Design Camps, Sweet Retreats or give them to designers to make into something beautiful once again.
How does your profit ‘make a difference’?
In London, we started a jewelry making workshop at a women’s homeless hostel.
So, Sweet Notions is an initiative of Matryoshka Haus. What’s Matryoshka Haus?
It’s a US 501c3 charity which exists to spin out new projects, initiatives and social enterprises that bring transformation. Sweet Notions is one of these initiatives.

What do you mean by Zero Waste?
In our business model and micro-processes we aim send nothing to landfill. We’re not there yet but it’s our intention. What we can’t sell we re-purpose, re-cycle, scrap or give away. Our bags and fixtures are made from recycled, reclaimed materials.
